Thermoshield Heat Protection
Thermoshield is a ceramic heat barrier coating.
It comprises of millions of hollow ceramic glass spheres that cluster together creating dead air space, the basic principle of insulation (encapsulation of air).
As a dedicated insulator, as opposed to a paint, it has accredited tested heat values. This gives the coating an equivalent R-rating ranging from 2.5 to 6.5 dependant on the weather. Click here to view equivalent R-Rating documents.
Container Heat Trial
Thermoshield Australia was engaged to see the benefits that Thermoshield Insulation can deliver. We have received this independent Container Heat Temperature Trail, as you can see the white container has been coated with Thermoshield Insulation.
The reduced temperature in the coated container is significant as you can see in the graph, it shows a massive reduction in heat, from 65.9°C down to 36.8°C.
The reduction in temperature has a direct impact your current energy expenditure within any structure, being a significant drop in power consumption and comfort.
