Project Overview
Storage King was facing significant challenges with an aged Super 6 asbestos roof, which was heavily weathered and deteriorating. Full replacement would not only be costly but also introduce considerable safety and compliance risks.
Thermoshield was selected to deliver a multi-faceted solution that encapsulated asbestos fibres, improved thermal efficiency, and extended the service life of the structure — all with minimal disruption and zero fibre release, as verified by air monitoring.

Complete Asbestos Fibre Encapsulation
- Roof was sealed under three coats of Thermoshield to form a non-permeable membrane.
- Encapsulated fibres safely, preventing dislodgement from foot traffic, knocks, or weathering.
Enhanced Waterproofing & Durability
- Created an abrasion-resistant barrier that eliminates water ingress.
- Strengthened fragile roof sheeting to prevent future deterioration.
Thermal Insulation
